1). Designing:
Design conceptualization and sketching for Travel goods
Research on fashion and market trends.
Present designs and reports to design head for approval and discuss need for modification.
2). Product Development:
Develop and coordinate the fabrication of models or samples and the drafting of working drawings and specification sheets from sketches.
Modify and refine designs, using working models, to conform to specifications, production limitations, or changes in design trends.
Evaluate feasibility of design ideas, based on factors such as appearance, safety, function, serviceability, budget, production costs/methods, and market characteristics.
Qualifications
Education
Design Graduate from NIFT/ NID Product /Lifestyle Accessory design
Experience Requirements
5-7 years, preferably in travel goods or lifestyle products.
Mobility/Travel
Occasional travel to local market/factory.
Computer Skills
Adobe photoshop/ Illustrator/ Corel draw
Language
Proficient with written and spoken English.
