The Application Support Engineer / Analyst is responsible for the deployment, automation, support, and lifecycle management of the ROMeo (AVEVA) optimization platform and its dependent workloads hosted on Microsoft Azure. This role combines application support, cloud infrastructure engineering, and DevOps practices to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable ROMeo environments through CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and configuration management automation (Ansible).




The successful candidate will work closely with application owners, process engineers, cloud infrastructure teams, cybersecurity teams, and vendors to automate infrastructure provisioning, software deployment, system upgrades, and operational support activities for ROMeo environments supporting EMPS assets globally.
Key Responsibilities
Application Deployment & Management
Deploy, configure, and maintain ROMeo application components and supporting software across Azure-hosted environments.
Install, configure, and support dependent workloads, services, databases, interfaces, and third-party integrations required by ROMeo.
Perform application upgrades, patching, migrations, and release deployments.
Validate deployments through automated testing, health checks, and operational readiness reviews.
Ensure application availability, performance, and reliability across development, test, and production environments.
