About the Role
The role involves preparing engineering drawings using WSP BIM/CAD standards and templates, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining document control. The candidate will also assist in the development of templates and libraries for BIM/CAD.

Responsibilities
Prepare Engineering Drawings using WSP BIM/CAD Standards and Templates.
Agree Priorities and deadlines, ensure timely delivery.
Align work with WoW and maintain Document Control from others.
Use non-project time productively for self-training on BIM / CAD software.
Assist in the development of templates and libraries for BIM / CAD.
Proactively raise queries and identify necessary inputs.
Lead project set up by agreeing drawing strategy,



type and size of drawings and drawing numbering with project engineer, and suggesting methods of drawing production to ensure efficient methods of working.
Manage production of work, review and ensure it is carried out to specified WSP I CAD standards, suggest revisions to standards as appropriate.
Use templates for CAD/BIM work and use CAD/BIM library items to assist design work.
Agree priorities and deadlines for drawing production through liaison with the Project Engineer and ME Client team.
Co-ordinate engineering services on projects to ensure that the correct inputs are received timely and the outputs are issued after full review.
Ensure that work produced by the team is to specified WSP CAD/BIM standards, suggest revisions to standards as appropriate.
Ensure that all work produced by the team follows QA, document control, archiving & CDM guidelines.
