Senior Assistant Vice President (D2)
Senior Principal Architect – Agentic AI Identity Management
Function: Global Technology

Reporting To: VP / SVP – Technology Cloud & Infrastructure
Role Overview
The Sr. AVP (D2) – Senior Principal Architect, Agentic AI Identity Management is a foundational technology leadership role responsible for shaping EXL’s Identity Management system and expanding it for agentic‑AI ecosystem.
This role operates at the intersection of architecture, security, automation, and business outcomes, providing deep technical stewardship while influencing senior stakeholders across business, delivery, risk, and governance. The incumbent will act as a technology authority, solution catalyst, and strategic advisor, ensuring platforms are secure‑by‑design, scalable‑by‑default, and outcome‑aligned.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture & Strategy
Architect and govern Identity Management for AI and autonomous agents, covering:
Agent discovery, registration, and attestation




Identity lifecycle (birth → permissioning → rotation → revocation → decommissioning)
Human‑to‑AI and AI‑to‑AI trust relationships
Transitioning from existing Microsoft MIM based Identity Management to IGA Platform with Agentic AI Identities
Least privilege access
Just‑in‑time and ephemeral credentials
Context‑aware and risk‑adaptive authorization
Define policy‑as‑code frameworks for:
Ensure full traceability and accountability across agent actions, decisions, data access, and privilege usage.
Partner with Cyber, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure architectures meet PCI DSS, SOC2, ISO 27001/42001, HIPAA, and emerging AI governance requirements.
Act as design authority for Identity for AI initiatives, including integrations with platforms such as Microsoft Entra, Okta, CyberArk, SailPoint, Saviynt, and AI‑native identity controls.
Agentic AI Platforms & Emerging Technologies
Architect and govern AI platforms leveraging:
Tools: Claude, Copilot, Gemini, Cursor, Repl
