Disney Parks, Experiences and Products is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for building world-class products and enabling our businesses to be future ready. We are looking for an engineer who has full stack programming experience and is enthusiastic to build and maintain recent applications, improving our Guest and Cast experiences.
Roles and Responsibility:
Design and implement reliable, high-throughput, low latency,



scalable and well-documented code to tackle sophisticated algorithms
Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other partners to propose extensible, reusable and performant solutions
Proactively seek opportunities to reuse or generalize existing services and implementations
Experiment, develop proof of concept with relevant new technologies
Conduct code review pull-requests with consistent scrutiny
Able to work independently to analyze and solve issues as an individual contributor
Troubleshoot, fix problems reported in lower and production environments
Write unit and component tests to ensure delivery of high quality code
Monitor and proactively improve production run quality of applications
Work in a scrum team and provide your daily updates
Estimate effort for assigned development tasks, assist in estimating level of effort for less senior level developers
