* About the Role
VN Odedra Vision Pvt Ltd is looking for a highly qualified U.S. Tax Return Reviewer to join our accounting team and support a U.S.-based CPA firm.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience reviewing U.S. federal and state tax returns, identifying errors or potential issues, and ensuring returns are accurate, complete, and compliant before filing.
* Key Responsibilities
Review U.S. individual and business tax returns for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Identify errors, inconsistencies, missing information, and potential tax issues.
Review tax calculations, deductions, credits, income, and supporting documentation.
Ensure returns are prepared in accordance with current U.S. federal and state tax regulations.
Provide clear review notes and communicate required corrections to tax preparers.
Perform detailed quality-control reviews before returns are finalized.
Stay current with changes in U.S. tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements.
Maintain a high level of accuracy while meeting deadlines during tax season.
* Qualifications
Strong experience in U.S. tax preparation and tax return review.
Previous experience working with a U.S. CPA or accounting firm is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state taxation.
Experience reviewing individual and/or business tax returns.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify errors and inconsistencies.
Ability to independently review complex tax returns and provide professional feedback.
Robust written and verbal communication skills.
* Preferred Experience
Experience reviewing some or all of the following:
Form 1040
Form 1065
Form 1120
Form 1120-S
Arizona individual and business tax returns
Tax extensions and amendments
CPA, EA, or other relevant U.S. tax credentials are a strong plus.
