Your Role

The candidate will be responsible for the global setup, configuration, implementation, and operational support of Waters Empower CDS/GCDS across multiple laboratory sites.The role requires close collaboration with global business teams, Lab IT, infrastructure teams, Waters/vendor teams, and local site stakeholders to ensure standardized, compliant, secure, and reliable Empower environments.

Who You Are

6 –10+ years of hands-on experience in Empower CDS administration, global setup, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support.




Perform global Empower CDS/GCDS setup and configuration across multiple sites.
Configure Empower projects, systems, users, roles, privileges, and security settings.
Support Empower Enterprise/Network architecture, database and application components.
Knowledge of Empower security, user management, projects, systems, privileges, and administration.
Experience with LACE configuration and troubleshooting.
Understanding of CDS infrastructure, databases, application servers, and network dependencies.
Experience supporting GxP / regulated laboratory environments.
Experience with integrations involving SDMS, LIMS, instruments, and other laboratory systems.
Manage global templates, standards, configuration baselines, and site-specific requirements.
Support LACE configuration and integration with Empower environments where applicable.
Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for Empower application and configuration issues.
