Acadvizen is looking for an experienced, energetic and target-driven Senior Academic Counsellor / Team Lead who can handle student counselling, drive admissions and lead a team of Academic Counsellors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Counsel students, graduates and working professionals regarding our career-focused programs
Understand each candidate’s educational background, experience and career goals
Recommend the right program based on the candidate’s requirements
Explain course curriculum, duration, fees, EMI options, internships, projects, certifications and placement support
Handle inbound and outbound leads through calls, WhatsApp and face-to-face counselling
Conduct detailed counselling/demo sessions
Handle objections related to fees, career outcomes,
placements, course value and timing
Maintain regular follow-ups until admission closure
Convert qualified leads into paid enrollments
Maintain complete lead updates and follow-up records in CRM/sales sheets
Achieve individual weekly and monthly admission/revenue targets
TEAM LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, mentor and motivate Academic Counsellors
Allocate leads and monitor lead utilization
Conduct daily team huddles and sales reviews
Track calls, follow-ups, demos, admissions and revenue
Monitor individual counsellor conversion rates
Listen to calls and improve counselling/sales pitches
Train counsellors on objection handling, follow-up and closing techniques
Support team members in difficult or high-value closures
Ensure every lead receives timely follow-up
Identify gaps in the sales funnel and improve conversions
Maintain daily, weekly and monthly performance reports
