Role Summary

Outcomes is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with experience in testing complex desktop applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Tosca or similar desktop automation testing tools such as Eggplant, and a strong background in test automation, quality assurance, and defect management.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for desktop applications.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
Contribute to test strategy, automation framework improvements, and quality best practices.

Required Skills

5+ years of Software QA and Automation Testing experience.
Solid experience with Tosca for desktop application automation.
Experience with similar desktop automation frameworks such as Eggplant (or equivalent).

Test Case Design & Execution
Defect Tracking and Management
Experience testing Windows-based desktop applications.
Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Preferred Skills

Experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle database validation.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
Experience in healthcare or enterprise software products.

Qualifications

Experience- 5+ years
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
