Role Purpose
Manage Corporate Commercial Finance and support marketing and sales function with instant information for decision making for existing portfolio and new projects.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Forecasting & Flash Reporting
- Prepare monthly P&L; flash forecasts at cost-centre level
- Conduct variance analysis of forecast vs actuals
- Timely and accurate reporting
Management reporting of Brand financials
- Prepare Financial reports at LOB and SKU level
- Prepare State – wise / channel – wise profitability analysis
- Monthly and YTD comparisons vs LY
- Prepare Monthly Obsolete / D&L; analysis reporting
- Timely and accurate reporting/financial insights
Ensure smooth month end accounting and inventory hygiene
- Estimate and record expenses for royalty, D&L;, and trade and marketing spends
- Allocate general expenses for cost center accounting
- Provide for obsolete and expired inventory on monthly basis
- Ensure zero exceptions and all provisions are booked before month-end closure
Cost Card, Pricing & NPD Support
- Prepare cost cards for current product development
- Support pricing decisions through cost cards and gross margin
- Provide necessary data / analysis on brand spends to the brand team
- Time and accuracy of the information
Export business - Commercial Documentation
- Prepare Export / Import documentation (PO / PI) and submit to relevant stake holder and treasury for LC / Bank guarantees in compliance with Export pricing guidelines and regulatory requirements
- On-time documentation with all compliance
Audit & compliance
- Provide accurate audit data with respect to commercial activity
- Ensure closure of audit observations without any business implications
- Maintain documentation standards in line with internal control framework
- Zero audit findings and closure of all audit observations within agreed timelines
Educational Qualification & Experience
- CMA/CA -Inter/ ICWA-Inter/ MBA Finance.
- 2 – 4 years of experience preferably in a FMCG com
