Job Role: Segment Lead – Commercial Vehicles

We are looking for a Segment Lead – Commercial Vehicles to build and scale the Commercial Vehicle Insurance business at Policybazaar.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who can combine business strategy, growth, product, partnerships and execution to build the next large growth engine within Motor Insurance.

What will you own?

• Business Ownership: Look after the overall Commercial Vehicle business, including revenue, profitability, growth and key business metrics.
• Growth & Distribution: Build scalable acquisition and distribution models across digital, assisted sales, partnerships, and offline/FOS channels.
• Customer Journey: Identify customer and funnel-level opportunities across the entire journey — acquisition, conversion, policy issuance, renewals and cross-sell — and continuously improve conversion and customer experience.
• Product & Proposition: Work closely with product, technology and insurers to build propositions, add-ons,



pricing constructs and value-added services tailored to the unique needs of commercial vehicle customers.
• Insurer & Industry Partnerships: Build and manage strategic relationships with insurers, financiers, fleet operators and other ecosystem partners.
• Data & Analytics: Use data to identify growth opportunities, understand customer cohorts, improve funnel economics and make decisions on pricing, channel mix, conversion and retention.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team across business, sales, partnerships, product and operations to deliver growth targets.

What are we looking for

• 3-4 years of experience in strategy, consulting, growth, insurance, BFSI, automotive or a related industry.
• Strong business acumen and P&L; orientation, with experience owning business metrics and driving growth.
• Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience using SQL / analytics tools / dashboards to drive business decisions.
