DESCRIPTION:
K-Hub is the DeepTech innovation centre of the KMIT Group of Institutions, where we incubate student-driven DeepTech research startups and help them move from research and technology development towards real-world application.

Our startups currently work across domains including drug discovery, cybersecurity, robotics, materials science, neuroscience, nutraceuticals and dermatology, with more DeepTech domains being added as the ecosystem grows.

We are looking for an “Associate – Business Development & Strategic Partnerships” who can sit at the intersection of what our teams are building and the outside world.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
1. Identify and map relevant companies, research labs, hospitals, universities, corporates, incubators and other ecosystem partners across our DeepTech domains.
2. ⁠Lead outreach, initiate conversations and connect K-Hub founders and leadership with relevant industry, research and institutional stakeholders.
3.



⁠Build industry connections that can lead to pilots, research collaborations, validation opportunities, expert introductions, field access and strategic partnerships.
4. ⁠Conduct market and ecosystem research and help our startups understand where their technology fits, who they should engage with and how they should approach the market.
5. ⁠Help founders translate complex technical and research work into transparent partnership proposals, collaboration briefs, market narratives and funding pitches.
6. ⁠Draft and structure proposals and documentation for Ethics Committees, DPIIT/startup pathways, Atal Incubation Centres (AICs), grants, accelerators and other institutional opportunities.
7. ⁠Build strategic relationships and external opportunities for K-Hub as an ecosystem, in addition to supporting individual startups.
