About the position
The Forecasting Geologist supports integrated production forecasting, type curve development, reserves and resources maturation, business planning, and uncertainty analysis for shale and tight assets. This role combines geological interpretation, production behavior, engineering inputs, and reservoir characterization to generate reliable and transparent forecasts that support business decision making.
The successful candidate will work closely with asset teams, reservoir engineers, earth scientists, and planning organizations to improve forecast quality and support strategic planning activities.



The role is expected to influence development decisions and business outcomes through direct collaboration with global asset teams and technical specialists.
This position also offers opportunities to advance forecasting workflows through analytics, automation, and digital innovation.
Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, and work hours are aligned to business needs. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements.
