About the Role This is the second of two roles backfilling a departing senior Microsoft expert who is transitioning into a new internal role.
This position focuses onsecurity configuration within Microsoft 365, including identity, access, endpoint, and compliance controls. The role also carriessecurity monitoring and compliance responsibilitiesas part of the departing expert's backfill scope. Responsibilities
Administer Microsoft 365 security workloads, including Entra ID, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Intune, and Purview.
Supportidentity and access hardeningacross the tenant.
Monitor endpoint and identity security using Microsoft tooling, including Defender, Entra ID, and Sentinel, and respond to alerts.
Supporttenant-to-tenant migration and consolidation, including provisioning for acquired employees and security hardening during the integration.




Collect and organizeaudit evidencefrom delivery systems and support compliance reporting.
Supportvendor risk management reviews and security assessments. Qualifications
Minimum6 years of Microsoft 365 security administration experience;10 years strongly preferred.
Deep, demonstrated expertise in Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender for Office 365, Intune, and Purview, or equivalent Microsoft 365 security tooling.
Stronginformation security fundamentalsand hands-on experience in a Microsoft 365 or Azure security workplace.
Familiarity withcompliance frameworks, with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 experience helpful.
Tenant-to-tenant migration experienceis a plus.
