Position: Ophthalmic OT Scrub Nurse

Location: Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Qualifications & Experience:
Education: B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.

Experience:Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience as a scrub nurse in an Ophthalmic Operation Theatre.

Skills: Proficient in assisting with advanced eye surgeries (Cataract/Phacoemulsification, Glaucoma, Retina, Cornea, etc.), managing specialized ophthalmic equipment, maintaining strict aseptic techniques, and handling pre
- and post-operative patient care.

Registration: Valid registration with the Nursing Council.

Key Responsibilities:




- Prepare the ophthalmic operating room with necessary sterile instruments, equipment, and consumables.
- Assist ophthalmic surgeons efficiently during surgical procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Maintain and care for delicate ophthalmic micro-instruments.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure smooth patient workflows.
