About the Role

BATON ENERGY is looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Manager - Lithium-ion Battery Manufacturing to lead battery pack production, assembly, testing, quality control, and day-to-day manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and monitor daily lithium-ion battery production activities.
- Supervise battery pack assembly, cell handling, welding, wiring, BMS installation, insulation, and enclosure assembly.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
- Prepare and maintain production plans, SOPs, work instructions, and production reports.
- Monitor battery pack testing, including voltage, capacity, insulation, BMS functionality, and safety checks.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, procurement, and sales teams.
- Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain 5S, workplace safety, housekeeping,



and process discipline.
- Monitor manpower, materials, tools, machines, and production efficiency.
- Reduce production rejection, material wastage, and manufacturing costs.
- Train and guide production operators and technicians.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of battery packs.
- Support current battery pack development, prototypes, and production scale-up.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in Lithium-ion / LiFePO₄ battery manufacturing or battery pack assembly.
- Strong understanding of battery cells, modules, battery packs, and BMS.
- Knowledge of cell welding, busbars, nickel strips, wiring, insulation, connectors, and enclosure assembly.
- Understanding of battery pack testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience in production planning and team supervision.
- Knowledge of quality control, SOPs, 5S, and workplace safety.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
