Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network systems, servers, and infrastructure using tools such as Zabbix, Cacti, and Syslog.
- Identify and respond to performance issues, alerts, and outages in real-time.
- Perform first-level diagnostics and basic troubleshooting for network issues.
- Escalate complex incidents to appropriate teams based on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately document incidents, downtimes, and resolutions.
- Maintain system logs and generate regular reports on network health and incident trends.
- Collaborate with Field and NOC teams to support maintenance and upgrade activities.
- Follow established procedures to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure system reliability.
- Participate in 24/7 shift rotations, including weekends and public holidays.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, 10+12+Diploma (Polytechnic) or a related field
- Experience working with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
- Ability to analyze logs and network performance data.
- Strong communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a 24/7 NOC or network operations setting.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Zabbix, MRTG , and Cacti.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time on-site role. Participation in shift-based work, including nights, weekends, and holidays as per the NOC rotation schedule.
