Position Overview

The Team Lead will be responsible for managing complex US business tax compliance and advisory engagements, including preparation and review of federal and state tax returns, international tax matters, and consolidated filings. The role involves direct client interaction, team supervision, and technical tax research to ensure compliance and deliver high-quality service.

Responsibilities

- Preparation and review of complex US business tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065).
- Preparation and review of multi-state tax returns.
- Experience with consolidated 1120 tax returns.
- Handling compliance for international tax forms such as 5471, 5472, 8804, 8865.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns for clients.
- Conduct tax technical research on US federal, state, and international tax issues.




- Work on transfer pricing, tax treaties, and cross-border taxation matters.
- Provide guidance on complex tax positions and compliance requirements.
- Direct interaction with clients and partners with tax-related queries and deliverables.
- Handle communication with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
- Manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
- Supervise and mentor a team of 4-5 associates.
- Review work performed by associates and provided constructive feedback.
- Impart US tax training to associates and senior associates.
