The Category Buyer is responsible for executing end‑to‑end procurement activities stating from presales support to execution of supplier purchase Orders for materials supporting all the bussiness verticals for the commodities Security, HVAC/IR, Fire & & Index commodities The role ensures cost competitiveness, supply continuity, supplier quality, compliance with global procurement policies, and alignment with Johnson Controls’ sourcing, ethics, and sustainability standards.

This position works closely with Global commodity team, engineering, Bussiness operations, Service & finance to support project delivery objectives.Execute sourcing and procurement activities for CCTV, Access Controls, IT Networking, HVAC/IR, fire detection/suppression & Index commodities
- Support category strategies by identifying cost‑reduction opportunities through supplier consolidation, localization, value engineering, and long‑term agreements (LTAs).
- Participate in RFQ/RFP processes and ensure sourcing decisions align with Customer ask pricing for sales bid.
