We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsman to prepare civil and
structural drawings for Renewable Energy Projects including Solar Power Plants,
be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, foundation details,
and as-built documentation in coordination with engineering and project execution
teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD and related
drafting software.
- Develop and modify:
- Site layout drawings
- Plot plans
- Foundation drawings for equipment and structures
- RCC and structural detailing
- Road and drainage layouts
- Cable trench layouts
- Control room and inverter room drawings
- BESS container foundation layouts
- Wind turbine foundation drawings
- Water management and storm water drainage layouts
- Structural steel detailing
- Prepare BOQ support drawings and quantity references.
- Coordinate with Civil Design Engineers, Electrical Teams, and Site Execution
Teams for drawing updates and revisions.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions and execution
changes.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, IS codes, and client
standards.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and document control systems.
- Review vendor and consultant drawings and incorporate approved
modifications.
- Support tendering, execution, and project planning teams with technical
drawing requirements.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of civil drafting and detailing.
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- Revit, Sketch up
- MS Office
- Drafting standards and documentation
- Knowledge of:
- RCC structures
- Structural steel drawings
- Solar module mounting structure foundations
- Wind turbine civil works
- BESS infrastructure layouts
- Roads, drainage, and trench systems
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and site requirements.
