About the role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Packing Room Supervisor to lead our packing operations. You will be responsible for managing a large team, maintaining efficiency, meeting daily production targets, and ensuring all machines and processes run smoothly with mínimal losses.

Key responsibilities

Supervise, guide, and motivate a team of 50+ packing room workers across shifts

Plan and manage manpower rotation to ensure optimal floor coverage at all times

Monitor and maintain packing line efficiency, identifying and resolving bottlenecks promptly

Track and drive daily, weekly, and monthly production targets to ensure on-time completion

Implement loss reduction strategies — minimize material wastage, rework, and downtime

Oversee routine maintenance of packing machines and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs

Enforce quality standards and ensure all packed products meet specification requirements

Maintain accurate records of output, downtime, attendance, and shift reports

Conduct daily briefings and address team concerns,



conflicts, and performance issues

Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and company SOPs at all times

Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a packing, production, or warehouse setting

Proven ability to manage large teams (50+ workers) across rotational shifts

Strong understanding of packing machinery operation and basic preventive maintenance

Hands-on experience with manpower planning, shift scheduling, and workforce deployment

Track record of meeting production targets and reducing operational losses

Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work under pressure and handle fast-paced floor environments

Basic computer skills for report preparation (MS Excel / ERP systems preferred)

Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is an advantage
