Restaurant Captain - Job Description

A Restaurant Captain supervises the service team and ensures guests receive smooth, qualified, and friendly service.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and assign tables.
- Take food and beverage orders when required.
- Guide waiters and ensure proper table service.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar for timely order delivery.
- Handle guest complaints politely and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and table setup standards.
- Check bills and ensure correct payment process.
- Train junior service staff on menu, service style, and grooming.
- Report daily issues, guest feedback, and staff performance to the manager.

Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in restaurant service.
- Good knowledge of food, beverages, and menu items.
- Strong communication and guest-handling skills.
- Ability to lead waiters and manage busy service hours.
- Presentable, disciplined, and polite personality.
- Basic billing/POS knowledge preferred.

Salary: As per experience and restaurant standards.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
