QA Automation Lead:

Position Overview:
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Define and drive automation strategy to improve test coverage, efficiency, and product quality.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, business stakeholders, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Review test plans, automation scripts, and testing processes to maintain QA standards.
- Perform defect analysis, root cause investigation, and recommend preventive measures.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers on automation best practices and quality processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA function.
- Participate in release planning, sprint ceremonies, and quality governance activities.

Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation and Quality Engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Rest Assured.
- Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.




- Strong experience in API Testing, Database Testing, and Performance Testing.
- Hands-on experience with TestNG and BDD frameworks.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Good to Have:
- Experience leading or mentoring QA teams.
- Exposure to Banking, FinTech, or Insurance domains.
- Experience with cloud environments and modern DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of performance and scalability testing tools.
