Assess the nutritional status of IPD and OPD patients:
- Plan, prescribe, and monitor therapeutic diets based on medical conditions
- Provide nutrition counselling to patients and attendants
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and kitchen staff for diet implementation
- Ensure timely delivery of prescribed diets to patients
- Monitor food intake, tolerance, and patient response to diet therapy
- Maintain accurate diet charts, counselling records, and documentation:
- Supervise food service hygiene, quality, and portion control
- Participate in NABH, infection control, and quality improvement activities:
- Educate patients on lifestyle modification and post-discharge diet plans
- Conduct nutrition awareness programs and patient education sessions:
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, food safety, and statutory guidelines
