Job Summary

The Lawyer / Legal Officer will be responsible for handling all legal matters of the institution, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, drafting and reviewing legal documents, representing the institution before courts and authorities, and providing legal advice to management.

Key ResponsibilitiesLegal Advisory & Compliance
- Provide legal advice to management on institutional, employment, contractual, and regulatory matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws including Education Acts, Labour Laws, Trust / Society Acts, CBSE / State Board norms, and other statutory requirements.
- Monitor legal risks and recommend preventive measures.

Documentation & Drafting
- Draft, vet, and review contracts, MoUs, agreements, notices, affidavits, replies, and legal opinions.
- Handle employee-related legal documentation including appointment letters, termination notices, disciplinary actions, and dispute resolutions.
- Draft and review vendor, service provider, and lease agreements.

Litigation & Case Management
- Handle litigation matters,



including coordination with external advocates if required.
- Represent the institution before courts, tribunals, education boards, labour authorities, police departments, and government bodies.
- Maintain records of ongoing cases, notices, and legal correspondence.

Institutional Support
- Support HR and Administration on legal issues related to staff, students, parents, and vendors.
- Assist in handling RTI, legal notices, consumer complaints, and grievance redressal.
- Provide legal inputs during audits and inspections.

Policy & Risk Management
- Assist in framing internal policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks.
- Ensure timely renewal of licenses, registrations, and statutory filings.
- Identify potential legal risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,489.75 - ₹35,136.77 per month
