About the Role

As we scale, delivering exact, timely, and insightful property-level financial reporting is mission-critical. We are seeking an experienced Controller - Property Accounting to lead and oversee our Property Accounting function, reporting directly to the CFO.

This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate GAAP-compliant reporting, driving the budgeting and forecasting process, and managing a high-performing offshore accounting team. The Controller will oversee accounting operations across a diverse real estate portfolio, while partnering cross-functionally with Property & Asset Management, Lease Administration, Acquisitions, and Leasing teams.

The Controller will manage 3-5 Property Controllers, along with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Treasury Accounting Managers (India-based), ensuring financial integrity, NOI visibility,



and continued confidence from leadership and investors.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Reporting & Close Management
- Oversee financial reporting across corporate, property, and joint venture entities:
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes:
- Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements, lender packages, and compliance deliverables
- Maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation

2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
- Lead the annual property-level budgeting process:
- Deliver rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and actionable financial insights
- Partner with Asset Management and Property Management to drive NOI optimization

3. Property & Investment Accounting Oversight
- Oversee end-to-end property and investment accounting, including:
- Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Tenant billing and CAM reconciliation
