Role Summary

The Logistics Executive will be responsible for coordinating material movement, transportation, dispatch planning, and documentation for EPC projects. The role ensures timely delivery of equipment and materials to project sites while maintaining compliance with safety, statutory, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Material & Transportation Coordination
- Plan and execute dispatch of project materials, equipment, and fabricated items to sites.
- Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, and vendors for road logistics.
- Arrange special transportation for heavy, oversized, or critical equipment.




- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery to project locations.

Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and verify logistics documents including:
- Delivery Challans
- E-way Bills
- LR / GR copies
- Invoices and packing lists
- Ensure compliance with statutory transport requirements and safety norms.
- Maintain proper records for audits and project documentation.

Vendor & Site Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement, stores, project engineers, and site teams for dispatch priorities.
- Communicate delivery schedules to site teams and resolve material shortages or delays.
- Follow up with suppliers for readiness of material for dispatch.

Cost Control & Optimization
- Negotiate freight rates with transporters and optimize transportation costs.
- Monitor logistics expenses and maintain cost records.
- Support management in improving logistics efficiency and turnaround time.
