ICN:
To prevent susceptible patients acquiring pathogenic (disease-causing) micro-organisms.

To limit the spread of antimicrobial resistant infections.

Ensure IC best practices are implemented, and the hospital is fully IC compliant.

Conducts audits as per schedule to ensure compliance.

Core team - IC meetings.

Educates IC Practices to all stakeholders.

Lead role in employee vaccination against infectious disease

Educator:
1. Responsible for design, delivery & evaluation of academic & continuing education programs.

2. Ensure standards of Nursing protocol are strictly maintained through robust training, evaluating and monitoring of performance.

3. Assist with implementation and maintenance of standardized clinical protocols, participate in clinical Committees.
