Job Title: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) - English

Reports To: Head of Department / Principal
Job Summary:
The TGT English Teacher is responsible for teaching English language and literature to middle and secondary school students (Classes VI-X). The role involves delivering engaging lessons, developing language skills, evaluating student progress, and contributing to the overall academic and holistic development of students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective English lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum (CBSE / ICSE / State Board, as applicable).
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, and literature.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids to support learning outcomes.
- Assess, record, and report on students’ academic performance through tests, assignments, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to improve language proficiency.




- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in curriculum planning, academic meetings, and teacher training programs.
- Prepare students for internal assessments, board examinations, and competitions.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress and concerns.
- Perform additional duties such as class teacher responsibilities, invigilation, and school activities as assigned.

- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English / Literature
- B.Ed. (mandatory)
- Experience:
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
