Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC VTL machines for machining white metal bearings.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and process sheets.
- Perform turning, boring, facing, and finishing operations on white metal-lined components.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Carry out trial runs, fine-tune programs, and optimize cycle times.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and concentricity as per specifications.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, dial gauge, etc.).
- Monitor tool wear and replace tools as required.
- Follow process control, safety, and housekeeping standards (5S).
- Identify and troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, programming, or material behavior of white metal.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
- Maintain machine logs,



inspection records, and production documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Hands-on experience in CNC VTL programming and operation (Fanuc / Siemens / similar controls).
- Strong knowledge of white metal bearing machining characteristics.
- Valuable understanding of cutting parameters for soft metals and finishing requirements.
- Proficiency in G-code programming and manual program editing.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T;) is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and handle responsibility on the shop floor.
- Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and safety.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in heavy engineering or bearing manufacturing industries.
- Exposure to machining large-diameter components on VTL machines.
- Familiarity with bearing inspection practices and customer quality standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
