Our team is growing, and we would love to hear from you Job Description XCentium is seeking a Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks to join our data practice. In this role, you will build and maintain data pipelines and lakehouse components for our clients,



working within an established Medallion Architecture framework under the guidance of senior engineers and architects. You will implement ingestion, transformation, and data quality logic across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers, following architectural patterns defined by the team. You'll contribute to proof-of-concepts and production pipelines, growing your expertise in modern lakehouse engineering. Core Qualifications 4+ years in data engineering or related data platform roles Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Factory, notebooks) and/or Databricks (Workflows, notebooks) Working knowledge of Delta Lake format Experience writing Py Spark for data transformation Exposure to Power BI or other BI tools consuming curated data Medallion Architecture Ability to implement Bronze/Silver/Gold layer logic following established patterns Experience with basic data quality checks and validation
