The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of goods and services required for hospital operations. This role ensures timely procurement of quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and vendor agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate vendors/suppliers for procurement of medical and non-medical items
- Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize purchase orders
- Ensure timely procurement of medicines, consumables, equipment, and other materials
- Maintain accurate purchase records, invoices, and documentation
- Coordinate with departments to understand material requirements and urgency




- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Verify received materials against purchase orders and invoices
- Monitor stock levels in coordination with stores and pharmacy
- Develop and maintain solid vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with hospital procurement policies and audit requirements
- Assist in cost control and budget monitoring
- Handle vendor payments coordination with the finance department
- Participate in vendor audits and performance evaluations
