Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently, safely, and with high quality standards. The role involves managing shop-floor teams, optimizing processes, and maintaining discipline and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the shop floor
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule
- Monitor machine utilization, manpower efficiency, and downtime
- Maintain product quality as per company standards and specifications
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures
- Coordinate with maintenance team for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance
- Maintain production reports, shift logs, and documentation
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Train, guide, and motivate workers/operators
- Ensure proper usage of materials to minimize rejection and rework
- Coordinate with stores, quality, and dispatch teams

Required Skills:

- Valuable knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP systems preferred)
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards

Qualifications:
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing industry (preferably in material handling / fabrication / heavy equipment)

- Production target achievement
- Rejection and rework percentage
- Machine downtime
- Labour productivity
- Safety compliance

Preferred Experience:
- Experience in fabrication, welding, or assembly lines
- Exposure to forklifts, hydraulic systems, or heavy machinery production (adds advantage)

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
