Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to oversee daily transportation and logistics operations. The role involves vehicle arrangement, route planning, and coordination with transporters to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute transportation schedules, routes, and vehicle allocation
- Arrange vehicles as per dispatch requirements and ensure timely placement
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and vehicle owners for smooth operations




- Track vehicle movement and ensure on-time dispatch and delivery
- Follow up on vehicle placement, loading, and unloading status
- Maintain robust relationships with transport vendors and negotiate freight when required
- Maintain records of dispatches, vehicle details, and logistics activities
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety standards
- Handle operational issues such as delays, breakdowns, or driver concerns
- Monitor and optimize transportation costs
- Prepare daily dispatch reports, vehicle tracking reports, and MIS

Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in transport coordination or logistics operations
- Strong understanding of vehicle placement, routing, and transporter coordination
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/logistics software
- Good communication and negotiation skill
