Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, guide, and execute embroidery samples for new collections based on design concepts and creative briefs.
- Supervise hand and machine embroidery work, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and precision.
- Interpret designer sketches into technical embroidery layouts with correct stitch, thread, and embellishment selection.
- Train, guide, and manage artisans, craftsmen, and embroidery teams.
- Experiment with new materials, thread combinations, beadwork, sequins, and metallic embroidery to create fresh looks.
- Maintain embroidery design archives, sample swatches, and technique reference boards.




- Coordinate with the design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure timely execution of embroidery work.
- Monitor finishing, consistency, and durability of embroidery in line with brand standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Embroidery, Textile Design, or Fashion Technology.
- 5+ years of experience in hand and machine embroidery for high-end ethnic, bridal, or couture brands.
- Strong knowledge of Indian heritage embroidery styles — zardozi, aari, resham, gota, mirror work, chikankari, and modern surface ornamentation techniques.
- Ability to translate artistic vision into technical embroidery execution.
- Excellent coordination and leadership skills for managing workshop teams.
- Strong eye for detail, texture, and finishing quality.
