We are looking for a Merchandiser with deep understanding of hand embroidery techniques, Indian têxtiles, and production coordination. This role connects creative design with execution — ensuring each ensemble reflects quality, craftsmanship, and design intent.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate between the design and production teams to interpret and execute design concepts into finished garments.
- Develop and maintain detailed product development sheets with embroidery placements, techniques, costing, and timelines.
- Source fabrics, materials, and embroidery artisans as per project needs and budget constraints.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in embroidery samples, colors, stitches, and motifs as per the designer’s creative direction.
- Plan production schedules and monitor progress across embroidery units, artisan clusters, and stitching departments.
- Evaluate quality and finishing at every stage — from sampling to final delivery.
- Work with the design and merchandising team to develop new embroidery concepts, surface ornamentation ideas, and seasonal collections.




- Maintain vendor relationships, artisan databases, and cost control reports.
- Support lookbook creation and collection preparation for exhibitions or buyer presentations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Design, or Apparel Production.
- 3-6 years of experience in luxury ethnic or bridal fashion, with specialization in hand embroidery and surface ornamentation.
- Solid technical knowledge of Indian embroidery techniques (zardozi, gota, aari, resham, sequins, mirror work, etc.).
- Ability to visualize and adapt traditional techniques into modern bridal silhouettes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with attention to detail and timelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and design documentation tools.
