Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding activities for transformer tanks and associated heavy structures.
- Execute MIG, TIG, and Arc welding as per approved drawings and WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications).
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication details accurately.
- Ensure weld quality meets industry standards and internal quality requirements.
- Carry out grinding, finishing, and repair welding where required.
- Work closely with quality and inspection teams for testing (NDT, visual inspection, etc.).
- Maintain proper usage and upkeep of welding equipment and tools.
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure a protected working environment at all times.
- Coordinate with fabrication and production teams to meet project timelines.

Required Skills & Competencies:




- Strong experience in heavy fabrication and structural welding.
- Knowledge of welding techniques (MIG/TIG/SMAW).
- Familiarity with WPS, PQR, and welding standards.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Knowledge of quality checks such as NDT (UT, RT, DP).
- Good understanding of safety practices in welding operations.

Qualification & Experience:
- ITI / Diploma in Welding or relevant trade.
- 3-8 years of experience in transformer tank fabrication or heavy engineering industry.
- Experience in welding large tanks (preferably up to 500 MVA transformers) will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
