Job Title: Inventory Incharge (School)

Department: Administration / Stores
Reports To: Admin Head

Job Summary

The Inventory Incharge in a school is responsible for managing and maintaining all school inventory, including academic supplies, uniforms, laboratory equipment, sports materials, and office stock. The role ensures proper stock levels, accurate record-keeping, and smooth distribution of materials to various departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all school inventory (books, stationery, lab equipment, uniforms, sports items, etc.)
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Issue materials to teachers, staff, and departments as per requirements
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and audits
- Maintain proper storage and organization of items in the store
- Track incoming deliveries and verify them against purchase orders
- Coordinate with vendors and the procurement team for orders and supplies
- Identify shortages, damages, or discrepancies and report them promptly




- Maintain inventory registers/manual records or update inventory software
- Ensure proper labeling and categorization of all items
- Support school events by arranging and tracking required materials

Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Commerce / Business Administration)
- 2-4 years of experience in inventory/store management (school experience preferred)
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems or MS Excel
