Job Purpose:
To manage, plan, and oversee all production activities in the food packaging plant, ensuring efficient production operations, adherence to quality standards, compliance with food safety regulations, and continuous improvement in productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning & Control
- Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand forecasts and sales plans.:
- Monitor production progress and ensure on-time delivery of packaging materials.:
- Optimize resource utilization (manpower, machines, materials) to meet targets efficiently.

2. Process Management
- Supervise all production processes — extrusion, printing, lamination, pouching, sealing, etc.:
- Ensure that machines and production lines operate smoothly with mínimal downtime.:
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance.

3. Quality & Food Safety
- Ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, BRC, or FSSC 22000 food safety standards.:




- Monitor product quality and coordinate with QA/QC departments for quality checks.:
- Implement corrective actions for deviations or non-conformities.

4. People Management
- Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to achieve productivity and quality targets.:
- Maintain a safe working workplace, ensuring adherence to health and safety policies.:
- Conduct performance appraisals and identify training needs.

5. Cost & Efficiency Management
- Monitor production costs and work to reduce wastage, downtime, and energy usage.:
- Analyze key production metrics (OEE, yield, rejection rates, etc.) and initiate improvement plans.

6. Coordination & Reporting
- Liaise with other departments - Procurement, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain.:
- Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly production reports to management.:
- Participate in audits and customer visits as required.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Production /
