The Account Executive will be responsible for managing accounting operations and supporting dealership sales and service functions. This role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency in ERP systems, and the ability to handle financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain daily accounting entries for sales and service departments.
- Manage vouchers, debit/credit notes, and data entry in ERP systems (e.g., Tally).
- Handle billing, invoicing, and preparation of customer receipts.
- Oversee cash handling, cash counter operations, and daily cash closing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Support GST accounting, compliance, and reporting.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and audit documentation.
- Collaborate with dealership teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure adherence to company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Tally preferred).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and dealership operations.
- Knowledge of GST, billing, and reconciliation processes.
- Prior experience in the automobile industry or dealership accounting is an advantage.
