Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Post-Production

Edit multi-camera podcast footage into polished long-form episodes for YouTube.

Create engaging short-form vertical clips (Reels/Shorts) optimized for Instagram and YouTube Shorts.

Sync audio and video, enhance sound quality, and balance levels.

Add graphics, captions, motion elements, b-roll, transitions, and branding assets.

Implement pacing, storytelling, and visual hooks to maximize viewer retention.

Color correct and color grade footage for a professional look.

Export videos in platform-specific formats and resolutions.

Content Optimization

Understand platform trends and editing styles for YouTube and Instagram.

Craft attention-grabbing intros, thumbnails suggestions, and clip highlights.

Optimize videos for audience engagement and watch time.

Production & Shooting Support

Assist in planning and executing podcast video shoots.

Set up cameras, lighting, microphones,



and recording equipment.

Ensure proper framing, exposure, and audio capture during filming.

Troubleshoot technical issues on set.

Collaboration & Workflow

Work closely with hosts, producers, and social media teams.

Manage project timelines and multiple episodes simultaneously.

Maintain organized file management and backups.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience editing podcasts or talk-show style content.

Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).

Experience with motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.

Strong understanding of multi-camera workflows.

Knowledge of lighting, camera operation, and audio recording.

Familiarity with vertical video formats and social media requirements.

Robust storytelling sense and attention to detail.
