Job Description – Trade Processing & Custody Operations (Freshers can also apply)

Role Summary

The Trade Processing Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end trade processing, custody operations, exchange settlements, billing, regulatory reporting, reconciliations, and operational controls across Equity, Currency, Commodity, Custody segments. The role ensures seamless execution of post-trade activities, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, stakeholder management, process automation, and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Processing & Exchange Operations
- Lead and manage day-to-day trade processing activities for Equity, Currency, Commodity, Institutional, Custody segments.
- Ensure all trades executed during the trading day are accurately captured, validated, processed, settled, accounted for, and reported within defined timelines.
- Monitor trade lifecycle from execution through settlement while ensuring adherence to exchange and regulatory guidelines.
- Verify daily exchange obligations and reconcile settlement data with exchange records.




- Ensure timely completion of pay-in/pay-out obligations and settlement activities.

Custody Operations
- Oversee end-to-end custody trade processing for custodian clients.
- Coordinate with Custodians for timely trade confirmations, affirmation, settlement instructions, and exception resolution.
- Ensure timely STP (Straight Through Processing) upload of custodian clients trades.
- Monitor and resolve STP exceptions, unmatched trades, and settlement failures.
- Coordinate with Custodians, Clearing Members, Depositories, and internal teams to ensure smooth settlement.
- Manage DVP (Delivery Versus Payment) settlement processes and ensure timely execution.
- Track settlement status and proactively resolve trade and settlement discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with custodian client SLAs.

- Oversee generation and dispatch of daily Contract Notes and Bills throug
