Role Description: The Experience Prestressing Engineer for Bridges and Buildings is a full-time. The role involves operating and overseeing prestressing systems, including post-tensioning and pre-tensioning for bridges, buildings, and slabs. The engineer will provide technical guidance during site execution, monitor quality and safety practices, and support troubleshooting of technical issues.
Qualifications
Experience with post-tensioning and pre-tensioning systems, including anchorage details, tendon profiles, and stressing procedures.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Hands-on experience in site supervision for prestressing works, including profiling, stressing calculations, jack calibration checks, grouting, and quality control.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering (master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field preferred).
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
Effective communication skills, ability to work in a team, and readiness to travel to project sites as required.
Relevant industry experience in prestressing for bridges and buildings; prior work with specialized contracting or design firms is a
