Role Description The Zonal Head role at DailyGong is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Zonal

Head is responsible for leading regional business operations, including driving growth in user acquisition and trading volumes within the assigned zone. Daily responsibilities include overseeing sales and relationship management teams, setting performance targets, monitoring key metrics, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. The role involves developing and executing regional strategies, building partnerships, conducting market analysis, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Head will collaborate closely with senior leadership to align regional initiatives with overall business objectives and to support continuous improvement in processes and service quality.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in regional or zonal leadership roles within financial services, stock broking, fintech, or related industries.
- Strong skills in sales management, business development, and revenue growth, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop diverse teams, with solid people management and performance management capabilities.
- Solid understanding of equity markets, trading platforms, retail investing behavior, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using analytics and reporting tools to monitor performance and inform decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapting to evolving business priorities.
- Fluency in English and local languages relevant to the region; strong presentation skills.
