Role Description The ZOHO Developer will work in a remote, contract role, focusing on the design, development, and customization of ZOHO applications to support client business processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and integrating ZOHO CRM and other ZOHO products, developing custom workflows, scripts, and automation, and optimizing existing implementations for performance and usability. The role involves gathering and refining requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions, and collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality outcomes.
The ZOHO Developer will also troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, create documentation, and contribute to best practices for deployment, data integrity, and security.
Regular communication with clients and internal stakeholders is expected to ensure solutions meet functional and strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with ZOHO products (such as ZOHO CRM, ZOHO Creator, ZOHO Books, or related tools) and the ability to configure modules, customize fields, and build automations.
- Proficiency in scripting and integration technologies (for example Deluge scripting, REST APIs, webhooks, or third-party integrations) to connect ZOHO with other systems.
- Skills in database design, data modeling, and data migration, including working with structured data, imports/exports, and maintaining data quality.
- Understanding of software development practices, including requirements analysis, solution design, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Capability to analyze business processes and translate them into efficient ZOHO workflows, pipelines, and dashboards tailored to client needs.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and remote work skills, with the ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and coordinate with distributed teams.
- Experience with CRM implementation, ERP or business process automation projects; prior work in consulting or client-facing technical roles is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, security best practices, and performance optimization for SaaS applications is beneficial.
