Workday Test Analyst – Payroll &

Benefits (Execution-Focused)

Location – Remote in India They will work 2:30 PM- 10:30 PM IST

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Workday Test Analyst to support a large-scale global Workday transformation program.

This role is highly execution-focused, supporting regional Test Leads across Payroll & Benefits. The ideal candidate will be a transactional Workday resource with strong experience performing data setup, EIB processing, and end-to-end test execution within Workday.

This is not a test strategy or lead role — candidates must be comfortable working directly in the Workday system executing transactions and validating data.

Key Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end Workday testing activities across Payroll & Perks, including SIT, UAT, and regression testing

Perform Workday transactions to support testing scenarios (Hire, Termination, Compensation Changes, Benefits Enrollment, Absence, etc.)

Create, load, and validate data using EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder)



for inbound and outbound integrations

Execute and validate Payroll testing, including:

Gross-to-net calculations

Earnings, deductions, and tax validations

Payroll reconciliation and output validation

Validate Benefits configurations, including:

Eligibility rules

Enrollment processing

Payroll deductions and downstream impacts

Perform data validation and reconciliation between Workday and downstream systems (payroll vendors, benefits providers, etc.)

Support integration testing (Core Connectors, EIB, PECI, inbound/outbound interfaces)

Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or ALM

Collaborate with functional teams, integration teams, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure data accuracy

Prepare and maintain test data, test scenarios, and execution results to support testing cycles
