React & Next.js Developer

About CojectiveCojective is a digital agency operating across Mysore and Bangalore. We deliver web design and development, branding, video production, and performance marketing for clients across manufacturing, education, healthcare, and D2C sectors.

RoleWe build custom React and Next.js websites and applications for our clients. You will own the front-end delivery on these projects, working from designs produced by our UI team.

You will work alongside our existing developer, who manages our WordPress and PHP work. Support on WordPress projects will be required from time to time, but React is the primary requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

- Build client websites and applications in React and Next.js
- Convert Figma designs into responsive, production-ready front-ends
- Handle component structure, state management, routing, and data fetching
- Integrate REST APIs and headless CMS back-ends




- Optimise for page speed and Core Web Vitals
- Deploy and maintain live sites
- Support WordPress and PHP maintenance work as required

Requirements
- 1 -2 years of experience building production React applications , will be preffered
- Strong JavaScript fundamentals (ES6+, async, DOM)
- Next.js experience — routing, SSR/SSG, data fetching
- Contemporary CSS and responsive development
- Git
- Working knowledge of WordPress and PHP
- Ability to manage 3–4 projects at a time and work independently

Preferred
- TypeScript
- Tailwind CSS
- Headless WordPress or other headless CMS
- LMS, membership, or e-commerce projects
- Node.js

Details
- Location: Chandra Layout, Bangalore
- Working days: Monday to Saturday
- Compensation: Based on experience
