About the Role

Orchids The International School is looking for an cutting-edge and enthusiastic Robotics Teacher to inspire students through hands-on learning in robotics, coding, automation, and STEM education. The ideal candidate will foster creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking by delivering engaging lessons and guiding students in designing, building, and programming robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver interactive robotics and STEM lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Teach students the fundamentals of robotics, coding, electronics, automation, and engineering concepts.
- Guide students in designing, assembling, programming, and testing robotic models using age-appropriate robotics kits and software.
- Introduce programming concepts using platforms such as Scratch, Blockly, Python, Arduino, or other relevant technologies.
- Encourage innovation through project-based learning, coding challenges, and robotics competitions.
- Assess student performance through practical assignments, projects, and classroom activities.
- Maintain robotics lab equipment, tools, and learning resources in a safe and organized manner.
- Integrate technology and digital learning tools to enhance classroom engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers and school leadership to organize STEM events, exhibitions, workshops, and competitions.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, faculty training sessions,



and other school activities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- B.Ed. is preferred for school teaching roles.
- Certification or hands-on experience in robotics, coding, Arduino, LEGO Education, VEX Robotics, AI, or STEM education is an added advantage.
- Prior experience teaching robotics, coding, or STEM subjects in schools or educational institutions is preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
