Role Description The VP Projects & Maintenance will lead capital projects and maintenance activities across manufacturing sites, ensuring reliable plant operations and timely project execution. This full-time, on-site role is based in Kalyan Dombivli and will oversee project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and coordination with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, safety, and quality. Daily responsibilities include supervising maintenance strategies, monitoring equipment performance, driving preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.

The role involves reviewing technical designs,



vendor proposals, and contracts, while optimizing costs and timelines for new installations, expansions, and upgrades. The VP Projects & Maintenance will mentor site teams, implement best practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the company’s operational and strategic goals.

Qualifications

- Strong project management and planning skills, including experience in capital projects, plant expansions, and equipment installations.
- Demonstrated expertise in maintenance management, preventive and predictive maintenance, and reliability engineering in a chemical or process industry environment.
- Sound knowledge of chemical plant operations, utilities, and engineering systems (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation).
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and vendor management, including negotiation and contract oversight.
- Familiarity with safety, health, and environmental regulations, as well as statutory compliance relevant to chemical manufacturing.
- Ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, with strong decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field), with significant leadership experience in projects and maintenance.
- Experience in large-scale manufacturing organizations, preferably in chemicals or allied industries, will be beneficial.
