Role Description The Volunteer & Leadership Coordinator (Social Impact) is a full-time, on-site role based in Rewa. This position is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating volunteers across programs in education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and rural development. The Coordinator will design and deliver volunteer training sessions, develop schedules, assign responsibilities, and provide ongoing guidance and mentorship to volunteers and emerging community leaders.

Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing community outreach activities, maintaining volunteer records, monitoring participation and engagement, and ensuring that volunteers have the resources and support they need to succeed.



The role also involves collaborating with program teams, strengthening partnerships with local stakeholders, and contributing to reporting, impact measurement, and continuous improvement of volunteer-led initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training skills to effectively recruit, onboard, guide, and develop volunteers and community leaders.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills to build trust, facilitate collaboration, and engage diverse stakeholders in community programs.
- Candidates should possess Community Outreach experience and related skills to plan, coordinate, and implement local initiatives and events that advance social impact goals.
- Relevant experience in non-profit or social sector work, especially in community development, education, healthcare, or women’s empowerment, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Rewa, manage multiple projects, maintain accurate documentation, and use basic digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets) for coordination and reporting.
- A bachelor’s degree in social work, development studies, humanities, management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in volunteer coordination or community engagement.
